Our services
Services for local authorities, families and young people
Practical, community-based support that responds to real-life challenges, from one-to-one key working to safe transport. We work side by side with councils, schools and families so young people get the right help at the right time.
What we offer
Key working
One-to-one support from a matched keyworker, with a clear plan and the family involved.
AQA Unit Award Scheme
Certificates for every unit a young person completes in their sessions, at their own pace.
Workshops and programmes
The Leadership and Perceptual Thinking programmes: confidence, self-awareness, better choices.
Transport and escort
School runs and journeys with keyworker-drivers who know the young person.
Sensory room
A calm, supervised space in Deptford for children with sensory processing needs.
For local authorities
Commissioned per young person
Councils commission our support for individual young people and families, usually through children's social care. We embed ourselves in the community, listen to what each borough needs and adapt to it.
We work with Hackney, Greenwich and Lewisham.
Out-of-hours crisis support and Diversion from Care
We support families in the evening when a home is in crisis, and families on the edge of care. These services are for councils only: approved council staff can read the details, contact routes and documents in the portal.
Frequently asked questions
What services does YPR offer?
One-to-one key working, the AQA Unit Award Scheme, leadership and thinking-skills programmes, escorted transport and a sensory room. For councils we also run out-of-hours crisis support and a Diversion from Care scheme.
Do you work with local authorities?
Yes. Most of our work is commissioned by councils for young people known to children's social care or facing complex challenges. We currently work with Hackney, Greenwich and Lewisham.
How are your services delivered?
At our hub in Deptford, in community venues, schools and homes, and out in the places where young people live and spend time. Flexibility and trust are at the heart of how we work.
What kind of development do you focus on?
Self-awareness, emotional resilience and aspiration. Through goal-based work we help young people make better decisions and build relationships and life skills.
Can I work or volunteer with YPR?
We are recruiting now. See our open jobs or contact our team.
